USB Flash Drive Vault Password Problem.

I have a Sandisk Cruzer 4GB Flash Drive. A while back I set up the vault with a password (That I thought I’d remember), and as an ■■■■■, I made the hint “Unknown”, so now I try all the passwords I used at that time, and nothing is correct. How can I either reset the password without knowing it, or extract the data without losing it? Thanks for any help.

" can I either reset the password without knowing it, or extract the data without losing it?"

No. Wouldn’t be good security if you could.  Next time write the password down and save it under your pc.

Just to verify here, so there would be no way to extract the data since the password is already forgotten, correct?

As Ed_P said, there wouldn’t be much need for securing data with a password, if there’s a way to bypass that security measure and/or hack around it.

"no way to extract the data since the password is already forgotten, correct? "

Correct.

Use the SanDisk master password:  !looFlirpA
