Anymore met this same problem as mine? I bought a WD Elements 500GB portabe harddisk USB 2.0 yesterday, and when I wanted to retrieve the serial key via the Windows Lifesaver Diagonostic Tools, it shows that the hard disk is Toshiba. There is a serial key and when I keyed it into the product registration page in WD, i failed to register the product. Am I being conned or what? :confounded:
Hi, you can also find the serial number on the Elements label or you can also download DLG and it will also give you the serial number. Check the link below to download DLG.
