I use Windows 8.1. My WD My Passport ULTRA hard disk is not shown in the file explorer. In WD Discovery, the device shows with a ‘Read-Only’ label. WD Drive Utilities shows the device with size 0 bytes while WD Security doesn’t show it.
It is detected by the Device Manager and Disk Management but I am unable to ‘Initialize Disk’. Please Help.
Having the same issues in Windows 10! I have tried everything I can find to no avail. Help is appreciated!
