I have data stored on an older WD passport drive. I want to copy the data from the old drive to a new WD passport drive I have just bought. When I connect them I cannot see the two drives - only one; it makes a notofication sound when each drive is connected.
Usually I can actually see 3 usb drives but 2 of them have an external power source - the WD passport is powered only by the USB port. It makes no difference if I remove the externally-sourced USB drives.
I have not installed any of the software, that comes with the drive on either drive,
Is there something I can do so that I can see 2 WD passport drives?
