I just purchased a G-SPEED Shuttle with Thunderbolt 3 24TB drive to replace my ailing G-Speed Q.
My current PC is old, but I plan on upgrading soon. It only has USB 3.0. Purchased a Thunderbolt to USB 3 cable.
When I plugged everything in, out of the box, the G Speed Shuttle would not power on. Seems like there’s no pulse. I tried hitting the power button. I’ve also tried holding it. Nothing. I figured I’d hear a fan or hear a drive spin up or even see a light. Nothing.
Basically, I’m trying to figure out if it’s because of the older interface technology or if I have a dead drive. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!
