This has happened more than once. The battery will die on it, and when I replace them, the memory card will be erased. I have to keep reformatting the sd card and putting music back on the memory card.
Has anyone else had this problem?
I have the same problem. Is this just a design defect or is there a solution?
If you will lock your SD Card, it will not erase when you replace the battery. There is a small “slide” on the side…if you will slide it into the lock position (which is opposite of what it is when you download onto it) it will not erase…but if you forget and try to download onto it while in locked position, it will not let you, so you have to move it back.
