The back up won't get past ~35%

Originally the backups were working fine, but now for roughly 6 months it won’t get past the 33-35% mark and that is after up to 8 hours of the program running. I have uninstalled the WD backup software and redownloaded it from the WD support site, but nothing has changed. I have seen this issue previously posted, but have yet to find a solution. I would really like to be able to use automatic backup.
