Hi everyone this is my first post so hope I’m doing this right. I have a MyPassport Ultra which has backed up once but is now saying Target Missing - make sure device is plugged in and accessible … It is plugged in and the light initially flashes for a few seconds and then becomes static, it is also saying “off line.” I am using Windows 7. Can anyone help please.

Thanks Alex for that it looks great and very helpful. Unfortunately I’m now in more trouble - managed to lock myself out of my laptop! (using my Tablet to reply) As soon as I’m up and running again I’ll certainly have a go with the suggestions. So many thanks.
