Switching backup drives using Smartware/MyBook

I have two MyBook drives, so I can move one to an offsite location periodically. Can I use Smartware effectively? How?

As it is, when I swap drives, newly added files are backed up, but the entire period the previous drive was installed is missing, and doesn’t get added.

WD SmartWare should be able to detect that files are missing in the second volume, however, you may have to change the backup target in the “Home” tab by clicking on the actual drive icon to store the data.
