Software for Elements 2 TB External HD?

I recently bought an Elements 2 TB External HD.  My expectation was that there would be software already installed on it

like there is on My 1 TB Passport external HD, specifically: WD Smartware and WD Lock/Unlock.  There was none.

Is the above or comparable software to My Passport software available for download for the Elements external HD?

Hello,

The WD Elements drive does not include a backup software. However, There is a new version of WD Smartware that will work with a WD Elements. It is version 2.0.1. 

In order to get this version working with a WD Elements you need to purchase the Pro Edition.
