I need an external hdd with firewire 800 to use with Time Machine. Therefore I narrowed down to My Book Studio 2 TB
Please comment whether I should buy this one or some other brand / product?
WD My Book Studio is a Mac friendly.
It has everything Mac users need.
It has e-label where you can name the drive individually even if you have only one drive. None from other brand.
This e-label stays even power off. You can change the background from white to black.
It has firewire 400/800, USB and e-sata.
If you are familiar with Time Machine, you do not need their back up software.
3 yrs warranty.
