Hello, I have a Sandisk Extreme Pro micro SD card 32 GB. It suddenly stopped working and in Windows there is the “No media” error, so Disk Management can’t fix it
ChipGenius says this:
Description: [F:]Dispositivo de almacenamiento USB(Mass Storage Device)
Device Type: Mass Storage Device
Protocal Version: USB 2.00
Current Speed: High Speed
Max Current: 248mA
USB Device ID: VID = 14CD PID = 125C
Serial Number: 125C20100726
Device Vendor: Generic
Device Name: Mass Storage Device
Device Revision: 0300
Manufacturer: Mass
Product Model: Storage Device
Product Revision:
Controller Part-Number: Unknown
So the firmware is probably damaged? That’s what the DiskPart
tool says (I’m sorry it’s in Spanish):
DISKPART> detail disk
Mass Storage Device USB Device
Id. de disco: 00000000
Tipo : USB
Estado : No hay medios
Ruta : 0
Destino : 0
Id. de LUN : 0
Ruta de la ubicación: UNAVAILABLE
Estado de solo lectura actual: No
Solo lectura : No
Disco de arranque : No
Disco de archivo de paginación : No
Disco de archivo de hibernación : No
Disco de volcado : No
Disco en clúster: No
No hay volúmenes.
So it wasn’t able to clean
it
chkdsk
can’t access the media, not even unmounting it
I tried several programs to fix it, but none of them were able to do it because they can’t recognize it, but I think it’s because they look for USB, not SD card
