Sandisk Cruzar MyDocument Error (Cannot have access to my files)

Hello Everyone,

I am hoping someone can help me solve this problem. I have memorable pictures an videos on my usb but I cannot gain access to them. When I plugged my USB onto my laptop, then click "Removable Disk (K:), I usually see all of my files. But this time, there is only one folder labeled “MyDocument” on it. When I click on it An error message pops up saying "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive\Device\Harddisk1\DR1. I have the option of clicking cancel, tryagain, or continue. But whatever I click, the message keep popping up again, and I cannot see any of my files I have saved on the USB. If anyone has a solution to this problem, please let me know. I greatly appreciate your help. Thank you.

If your files are important to you and you don’t have access to their backups (all important files have backups, right?) I suggest you take your USB device to a local technical repair shop ASAP.  Do NOT try to write to it or format it.
