I have photos and music saved from an old Windows PC on my WD external drive (older version; “My Book Essential”). I’m trying to save my photos and music from the external drive onto my mac but can’t seem to install WD Smartware without being ask to erase all my files from the external drive. I don’t want to erase these files as they are the only copies I have. I hope I’m making sense and that someone can help me!
