Quick Drive and Complete Drive Test Failed on Brand new WD Passport

Hi,

I am using Windows 8 Pro OS

Recently bought WD Passpost 1TB HDD

As soon as I got it I ran Quick Drive test and Complete Drive test. Both are failed. Don’t know why.

Still I am able to format and copy the data. But Now I see very slow response from the HDD and only 300 Gb Occupied.

Can any one tell me how can I test this for any corrupted disk/faulty disk?

Did you used DLG to test the drives? If the test fails you need to backup your files and replace it.
