Once connected My Book with computer, it asks for formatting before use.
But it cannot be formatted.
Anyone with a solution to this? very much appreciated! Thanks
Try using another USB cable, and try to format the drive from a different computer. You may also try writing zeros to it, then reformat. If still unable to format it you may contact WD for a replacement.
