I want to make a passport for my 1TB WD elements but I don’t know how, I just bought it, I don’t want to make it as “backup” or anything I just want to put personal files in it, and have a passport on it, so no one can open it.
but here I am having no idea about how to do it,
as you can see it doesn’t give me the “set up drive” option , why? how can I put a passport on this thing?

Hello,
The WD Elements does not support password protection with WD Smartware. Only WD drives that include WD Smartware will support the security settings.

The seller told me that this product here include security settings.
I don’t , how do I solve the problem? Do I return the product to them? Because if it does not support adding a password then I have no use for it.

Then the seller lied to you. The main difference between passports and elements has always been software/encryption support from WD.
Take it back. You want a Passport, not an Elements.
