Problem with installing smartware in win xp sp3

hi everybody

recently i formated my computer and i covered all i need in the drive.

when i tried to install the driver i got: “WD smartware has encountered a problem and needs to close” .

i have no idea what to do . i also checked in the internet but didnt find anything.

Are you installing the software or the driver?

If the drive, go to device manager and verify if it’s already installed.

If the software, turn off antivirus and firewall and make sure you have the latest version of java and .net frameworks 3.5
