I am struggling to get my Ultra Plus SSD to work in my HP laptop. The disk works fine when installed in my HP desktop machine but when I put it in the laptop it isn’t recognised at all. It soesn’t even show up on the system diagnostics at startup. I’ve tried reformatting it to NTFS all to no avail. Any explanation or idea of what else to try would be greatly appreciated.

There are some possibilitties why the ssd is not detected by the laptop. Are you sure that the SATA port is activated? was the SSD working before with this laptop? is another drive working fine with this laptop?
The SSD seems to work just fine because its working with the desktop pc.
I would check hardware issues with the laptop or bios settings.
