I am facing problem in WD 500GB portable hard disk.It detectS in my pc with window 7 but it doesnot seen/open.The same problem facing with windows xp platform also.So please suggest solution to recover from that problem.

If the drive is formatted for Mac it’s not usable in Windows without additional software. MacDrive is a paid one I don’t know about freeware.
