Plug the WD my passport essential 3 To usb 3.0 on a HD TV or Playstation 3

Hi !

I bought the “_ WD my passport essential usb 3.0 _”. I put some videos on it but when I plug it to my TV or my blue-ray reader or ps3,  but it fal to read, and I just get an error. Am I just noob and it’s normal because this external HDD is made just for computer ? Or maybe I forgot to do something important?

If someone can explain me, please ?

I don’t know about your video player but PS3 needs the drive formatted FAT32.
