Passport Wireless is not detected in iOS apps

Hi,

I have problem My Passport Wireless. My passport wireless can’t find device in iOS app (WD Cloud App), but in my Android (WD Cloud App) and computer still connect normally. I tried to reset but no result at all. The thing is I need to use it mostly with my iPad. If it cannot be used with my iPad, I am considering to return it to the store.

Dumb question, but… are you sure your iPad is on the MPW’s WiFi network?

Dumb reply… Of course it is connected to the MPW, like the other devices

Walk me through the steps you’re taking…

  1. You connect your iPad to the MPW’s wireless (and the WiFi icon is lit up in the corner)

  2. You open the My Cloud app on your iPad

  3. You select the device / actions viewer (icon that looks like three bars in the upper left corner)

  4. You select Manage Devices…

  5. You select the My Passport Wireless

… what happens next?

Better yet, figure out what you are doing incorrectly, since those of us with iPads, IPhones, Kindles, and other mobile devices can easily do this basic task.  Download the complete user manual for assistance.
