I am using windows pro 7 sp1 on my pc.

I have installed the wd smartware pro version 2.4.2.

I did a successful category backup to my wd passport ultra 2tb.

Each day i connect my wd passport to my pc before starting up the pc.

But what i find is that files that i create or changed on my pc that were previously backed up are not automatically updated on the passport drive.

Why is this as from what i understand is that any files that are changed will be changed on the passport drive as well.

Please advise.

Hello,

Any changes you make on your files should be updated on the backup as well.

If this is not happening then I recommend you uninstall WD Smartware and reinstall it.
