No recognition from mac !?

Hello,

as stated in the title my MacBook pro wont recognize my WD External hard drive, when i plug it in it get powerd and the light is on i could hear it humming … but no icon on hte desktop i cant even view it on Disk Uti.

but when i plug it on my Playstation 3 i could view it

how could i solve this prob. ?

also i am trying to recover some files (pics) from the drive that i deleted before do you guys think it is possible using Wondershare Data Recovery !?

Try connecting it on windows. What drive model is it?

I don’t have a windows OS and the model is My Book

That’s why I am viewing the files on my PS3 and am trying to view on Mac but I can’t …
