Why are Sansa not going to release any more updates?
My Fuze (1.02.26) has bugs and I want them sorted out!

What bugs? Have you searched this site to see if there were solutions for them?
My guess is that Sansa is probably going to be releasing new product soon. The Fuze has been on the market over a year. That’s a long time on the consumer electronics market. Seems like it might be time for a new model. If I’m right, I wouldn’t expect any more firmwear updates.

If there is indeed a Fuze+ coming then it had better have (apart from the sound quality, feature set and format support of the current Fuze / Clip):
1) gapless
2) ReplayGain
3) 32Gb base capacity
4) native XviD and DivX capability (no stupid transcoding / adjustments equired)
5) a price tag NOT exceeding that of the current Fuze
That’s pretty much what it’s going to take to keep it competitive - everyone else raised the bar too.

The fuze already has 2. Pretty much the only thing it needs is gapless, a couple of interface change options, and more track info such as year, composer, etc. and a fix to the track tag problem.
Yup, I know it has ReplayGain. I’m just hoping it doesn’t get dropped.
