New WD My Cloud app 4.4.0 is missing features?

I upgraded to the new McCloud Android app,  version 4.4.0. I now have a problem: the settings options have gone, I cannot find the option to trigger the offloading of images on an inserted SD memory card.  Also the option to connect the MyPassport drive to a wifi hotspot is gone.  Or I cannot find it. 

Anyone have the same problem?

Hello there,

When you see the connected devices on the app you should see the mypassport listed there, there is a little gear icon, once you click on it you will se the options and settings for the device. Hope this helps.

This gear icon does not work unfortunately, does it work on your Android device?

Well, I tested on a android device and was able to go into the settings of the device. Try uninstalling and re-installing the app on your device see if it helps.

Another thing, are you able to see the shares on your unit normally?

ArMak, I deleted the settings of the app and started it again. Now I can use the settings. Great tip, thanks!
