New External HDD 2 TB WD not getting recognized/detected

Just a week back I bought WD External 2 TB HDD which is not being recognized my PC.

Whenever I connect it gives messgae device drivers are not installed successfully.

Today I tried connecting to my friend’s laptop and it worked.

Any ideas.

The model is Elements 10B8

Make sure to test back with your computer.

Sometimes is just a matter of testing with another computer to make sure the drive is working.

Try downloading all of the latest drivers for your USB controller if you still experience issues.

It might be some bad USB data check this
