Hello.
I am looking for a driver download for an older My Passport (4-5 years old), and the model number has been worn off, that I use on a system that does not have Internet. I want to download the driver then transfer via USB drive to the other CPU.
The problem is, I cannot find a download for this. Everything I have found says Windows 10 will find the drive automatically. This would be correct IF it was Internet-ready, and it is not.
Can somebody steer me in the correct direction as to where I can locate this file??
However. . . . these are pretty generic drives. What O/S is the disconnected machine running? Have you tried simply plugging in the drive and seeing if it works? You can plug a USB2 drive into a USB3 port, and I would expect it to “just work”
