Confession time: I dropped it from only a few inches but since then when I plug it in it switches on and sounds fine but doesn’t appear in finder or disc utility.
It has a load of movies and files on that I really want to recover.
I’ve tried a different Mac and I’ve tried a different cable.
At this stage I don’t care if I have to destroy the hard drive, I have a new one, I just want the data.
Any ideas please?
