You’ll probably get more help in the TV sectiion. Check and see how the drive needs to be formatted. It may need to be formatted FAT32 also the unlocker may cause problems.

There could be a lack of power or the drives files system needs to be changed
Must media devices require FAT32
Check with the TV manufacturer to see how many MA does the usb port on the TV supply
I’m guessing the Lacie drive had a power adapter and that’s why it worked
If there’s a power issue, try getting a WD Elements Desktop
The lacie doesn’t have any supply adaptor, and I cannot format my WD in fat32, I only find EXFAT … ididn’t know this …
any Ideas ?
Sony told me that I have to format in FAT32 as well…
How to format in FAT32 when the format option doesn’t give you this option ?
Thanks
I don’t know which OS you are using but I don’t think you can format FAT32 from Windows 7 you probably need a third party format tool. WD has a Quick format tool http://support.wdc.com/product/download.asp?groupid=214&lang=en see if that works.
