MyPassport 2TB CRC Errors, Can't run Chkdsk, Disk is Write Protected?

I finally got my disk to mount on another Windows 2008r2 machine.

Now, after trying to copy the files over using Xcopy in the command line, It errorred out after a while, complaining about a CRC error. I assumed that I would be able to simply run a chkdsk /f to fix it, but the disk is complaining about being write protected.

How do I remove the write protection so I can  fix the CRC error?
