I have a new MyBook Studio Edition II 2 x 2 TB (warranty replacement) which came configured for RAID 0. I am running Windows 7 64-bit. I changed the drive partition from the MAC to Windows configuration. The RAID Manager (latest version) recognizes the drive, but lists the capacity as “Unknown”. Windows recognizes the drive and shows the correct capacity. When I highlight the drive in the RAID Manager and right click on it “Change RAID configuration” is grayed out. I am the computer administrator, but even when I run the RAID Manager as administrator I get the same result.
I connected the MyBook Studio Edition II that I will be sending back and the RAID Manager gives the option to change the RAID configuration. I submitted this problem to Western Digital, but haven’t yet got a reply.
Any ideas?
