MyBook not backing up one file

I have a new MyBook 3T. Using Windows 10 on a Toshiba Laptop. I backup the drive every weekend and for the last few weekends, it appears to be backing up everything but one file. One of these days I’d like to see “Backup Complete”. I’d appreciate any suggestions.

Which is the name of the backup program you are using to copy files into your unit? WD SmartWare and WD Backup should not be able to see hidden system files such as Bootmgr.

Hi and thanks for the reply. We are using the latest version of SmartWare 2.4.16 . We have it set to update it to the latest version.
