So My Passport Ultra is working well on my old LapTop running Windows 10
I have a new LapTop runing Windows and I want to use My Passport Ultra to recover (upload) all my files from the backup made on my old LapTop.
I have downloaded the WD Backup Software onto my New Laptop
However, when I plug in My Passport Ultra to the USB port it treats it as a brand new device. The WD BackUp software asks me to start a new backup and says there are no files to recover. And yet, I can see in WD Quick View that My Passport Ultra is 51% used - so I know the files are on there!
Please can someone tell me how I can access the files already backed up to My Passport Ultra, so I can recover them to my new Laptop.

Are you able to locate your files when navigating your hard drive in Windows Explorer instead of using the backup utility?

Presumably I can drag all the files in their folders over via windows explorer
It’s just that it seems to have saved every version of each document I have ever updated!
