I have trawled You Tube & found no solution. I bought a new lead & tried it on another laptop. It is powering up & the light is showing, but it isn’t showing up in Finder or on my desktop. External hard drives is ticked, i’ve checked. Thanks for any help in advance.
It is showing up under system information - hardware - USB
But I can’t open it
