My Passport Ultra 2TB Exfat

Hello , i bought a 2TB My Passport Ultra external drive, and because of the nature of my work

( sound engineer ) i formatted it with the exfat format.

I have to be aple to access my files both on Mac and on Windows.

The problem is that on my windows 7 laptop , when I eject the hard drive, it doesn’t shut down.

Does anyone have any clue what’s going on ?

Hi sabbarth, as long as you get the message that the drive was safely ejected, there should be no problems disconnecting the USB cable.

thanks a lot for the answer I was getting worried that I may damage the hard drive
