So i recently purchased the new Western Digital 1TB 3.0 My Passport. When i first connected it to my computer i put a password on it not knowing if I want to keep the password or not.
So i want to remove the password and i follow the steps to remove it through Smartware but my hard drive isn’t appearing under the settings tab in smartware.
I have also tried a complete reformat on my passport and it still has a password.
Is there any solution i can do to remove this password or solve the Smartware issue.
PLEASE HELP!
