My Passport for Mac keeps unmounting itself

Hello,

I have a MyPassport for Mac, it keeps disconnecting itself or unmounting itself. I can see my files are still there because I can see them through Finder, but then the device just disappears and it doesn’t show in the left as a plugged in device.

Please help. Thank you.

Hi there and welcome to the WD community.

Have you tried connecting this unit on a different computer or tried perhaps a different USB port?
