A new Driver is available for all those having trouble with motherboards using the Etron EJ168 USB3.0 Host Controller Chip.
The old version 1.05 has been updated to 1.11.
My system Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3 (rev1.0) motherboard and Western Digital Passport 500 Gig USB3.0 Portable HD.
The Passport Drive was nearly useless using old driver, multiple plug-ins to get it recognised by system.
System would never recognise Passport Drive when plugged-in at start up.
After Driver update No Problems.
