First off i am starting this as i have read through the threads and there hasn’t been a singular answer to my problem so please be so kind to answer this.
I have a My Passport essential(smartware) 320gb i recently purchased, i used it a few times and put very important things on it as i have been told that it is the smart thing to do.
Now the problem i have now is that when i plug them device into my laptop or other pc the light continuously flashes and the sound of spinning can be heard.
from what i have gathered it appears that it is damaged if so is there anyway i can still retain the information because it would be devasting if i lost all of the data on it.
