My Passport Elite can not be detected by my Computer

Dear

I have My Passport Elite 500 GB and after firmware update it can not be detected by my laptop or any other PC I tried it on windows xp and windows 7 and vista, I feel it spinning all the time

my computer detect it as USB Video Device and Initio Default Controller

there was password on my hard drive before firmware updating and I did not remove it

it still under warranty I replace it but I need the information on it

can any one help me

Dude, I’m sorry to tell you this but if the firmware update failed then the drive is dead and locked. Try another firmware update to see it will take it and it will most likely ask you to unlock it.
