My Passport 1TB is working on Windows but not recognized by Mac

Hello there,
Could you please let me know How can I use My Passport 1 TB for Mac? It works well with windows but not recognized by Mac. I bought this hard drive 4 years ago. I’ve done many things to be recognized in Mac but non of them worked!

Hello uqstudent, welcome to the WD Community. You need to use a Mac compatible format. If you want to use it on Mac’s Windows computers, you need to use a format that is compatible with both, note that formatting a hard drive will delete all of the files. See the link below for more information.
