hi, first off really sorry if this is answered elsewhere, i have searched but keep hitting a brick wall!
i have a ‘my book’…i decided to format it after tons off stuff was finally taken off it…i formatted it through windows vista the only way i knew how - through my comp- format etc!
the drive is now completly clear but shows up as G: not F: is this a problem?
i have tried reinstalling the software from the wd site but when i run the setup file i cannot see what i am clicking and if i click except i get the error…unable to launch installer G:MBE2_image\wd_windows_tools\Setup.exe, the only thing i have managed is the logo!! do i need these files to use the drive or is it ok completly blank!?
