My Book isn't formatting correctly on Disk Utility

Hi all,

I have bought a WD My Book 2 TB to use as a second Time Machine drive on a rotation between my first (a WD Elements 1 TB) & this new one.

I’m trying to format the My Book to use for Time Machine but Disk Utility doesn’t progress past the screenshot shown in the attachment.

Please help.

You should try to format the drive using WD Drive Utilities. Please refer to the link given below for instructions.
