I have all my photo files on My Book, I’ve accessed it twice. I recently bought a Passport for convince of travel. I plugged in My Book today it it will not show up on my desktop nor let me access it anywhere. it is showing up under my disk utilities, and saying there 3t available , but ive put stuff on it. and i did a first aid run,and there was nothing. I have no idea what to do. I have dropped it twice… but since the last time i dropped it, I’ve plugged it in and it has worked. it also did a back up tonight. so it is plugged in correctly and the back up will come up, just not the files I’ve transferred to it. Please Help!!!

It is possible the partition is corurpted. Try using a data recovery software to recover your files.
