Newbee here…had enough trouble just posting…here goes
I am basically using the My Book Essentails to store DVD Movies…have about 1 1/2 TB filled in various sub-files like
Sci-Fi~ Westerns etc… workks great on my Dell…tried to connect to my Toshiba nada
I check properties and it shows that 1 1/2 TB are used but my Files will not show.
I do not have the original program on the My Book…took it off to save room but have it stored on another HD because i didn’t want the auto record feature going 24/7.
Both are W7 by the way~~ I did copy the program I deleated off the My Book and transfered it to the Toshiba Laptop “C” Drive. I was hoping that would help… should I have opened it up and install the drive… I kind of thought by loading ~ or rather transferring it to the other Laptop’s “C” drive that was all i needed to do. 1 other weird thing is when I look at the drive in the “My Computor” box it shows an icon in the lower left of 2 people images?? Don’t know if that means anything or not. I did retry the unit on my Dell…works great. If I am to reload a drive would you include a link in the response for that? Thank you.
