My book duo recognised on macOS but nothing works with the WD drive utilities

Hello, My brand new 16TB my book duo is perfectly recognised by the OS (in apps such as disk utility) but the WD apps don’t do a thing, like setting the raid, erasing, even registering the disk. How can I solve this? I’ve already formatted it with macOS extended journaled following WD instructions but still nothing.
