My book 3tb moved to another pc and not seen

Hello,

I have a 3tb my book which I copied data onto on a pc. I then moved it to another serber running windows 2003 server and I see it in disk management as ONLINE but the onlu options it gives me that are not greyed out is to format or delete partition.

this drive does NOT show up in windows explorer. NOTE that this is the second exact same external hard drive I am plugging into this server.

I do not want to format becuase of the data I already have on it. If I move it back to another pc it works fine.

Event viewer has informational messages saying there was a signature conflict but I think it should automatically take care of that?

how can I get my existing datas on this hard drive to show up?

The external drives work with the desktop operating systems (XP, Vista, Win7).

None of the server O/S’s are listed as supported for any MyBook.

If you want to use the drive, I believe you need to connect it to a supported operating system.
