Well MPEG4 usually refers to video, and I can’t imagine trying to watch video on the Clip+.
If you mean the audio format, AAC, then it’s not supported. You have instead: MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC, Ogg Vorbis and Audible
It’s possible AAC support will come later - FLAC and Vorbis were added to the old Clip in software updates - but there’s no indication whether this will happen.
