Moving files on from Drive C to another drive. How does Smartware handle the backup?

If my WD Essential has backed up a folder (Videos) on my computer and I move that folder to another drive, how does the backup handle that?  Does the Smartware delete the originals and then backup the new ones where I moved them to?  Hope this makes sense.  I just remember when I had Carbonite and would delete a file on my desktop, then Carbonite would delete the backup of that file.

Actually the WD Smartware will take actions when you add a new file or modify something of your computer. If you erase a file off your computer it will stay in the external drive.
